Minutes of the Dunston Parish Council Meeting Held on Monday 10th October 2022

Previous Minutes
22129 The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed as a true record.
LCC report
22130 LCC Cllr Kendrick gave his report which included details of the Household Support Fund, Holiday Food and Activity programme, Biker Down training scheme and the Start4life online hub.
Chair’s Report
22131 It was confirmed that help with the website was now being freely provided by a very generous member of the local community which had enabled the AGAR forms to be published on the Dunston website by the end of Sep, as required by the auditor.
22132 It was resolved that Cllrs would examine other Parish websites with the intention of suggesting ways in which the Dunston website could be improved.

22133 It was resolved to erect a Christmas tree again this year, further details to be decided at the next meeting.

Village Keeper’s Report
Nothing further to report.
Future of Metheringham Surgery
An approach to Metheringham PC has been made and further contact is planned.
Highway Matters
Any resident experiencing further issues with smell or other problems with their drains is encouraged to make direct contact with Anglian Water.
22134 The Speed Gate project was closed.
The blanket road closure for and over-run of the electricity cabling work on Chapel Lane was raised with LCC Cllr Kendrick.
Planning Applications
Nil.
Environmental (incl Playing Field) Issues
A site meeting is scheduled for later this week with the representative from BeesWax to discuss ground repairs at the playing field and its car park.
