Draft Minutes of the Dunston Parish Council
(Finance Sub Committee) Meeting
Held on Monday 14th June 2021
PRESENT: P. Moore (PM)(Vice Chair), P. Duncan (PD), G. Armstrong (GA) and R. Boden (RB) (clerk).
The meeting of the sub committee was held to discuss the Statement of Accounts for the financial year 2020- 2021 and then the AGAR 2020-2021 that had been returned from Internal Auditor R Gawne.
ACCEPTANCE OF ACCOUNTS:
The accounts were discussed and the added notes from R Gawne taken into account as to why some costings had risen for this financial year and to look at the recommendations that RG had suggested in moving forward. 211/21
ANNUAL GOVERNANCE STATEMENT 2020- 2021
The Annual Goveranance Statement was approved at this meeting and signed by the Vice Chair -PM and the Clerk RB. 212/21
ACCOUNTING STATEMENTS 2020- 2021
The Responsible Financial Officer RB has signed the accounting statement certifying that for the year ended 31 March 2021 the Accounting Statements in this Annual Goverance and Accountability Return has been prepared following the necessary guidance.
The Accounting Statements were approved by Dunston Parish Council at this meeting and signed by the Vice Chairman PM. 213/21
The meeting closed at 6.48pm
