Community provision
In recent years there have been a number of community lead projects encouraged by the Parish Council.
.... A community garden around the Village Hall provide activity and produce free to all as it ripens
.... A community orchard of 100 trees has been planted in the playing field in 2022, also to provide produce free to all. More planting of hedges and environmental improvements to the beck are planned to allow for community involvement.
... Holiday clubs are funded and provided for during Easter and summer hliday periods.
TheAnglian and Methodist churches work closely together with projects supported by the community:
... CHIPS (Community Help in Particular Situations - rovides support by volunteers for villagers in need of lifts (doctor/ hospital etc) or for urgent access to prescriptions etc. This became instantly accessible duringthe Covid lockdowns.
.... A regular food collection from vilage people is organised and delivered to charitable organisations in Lincoln & Sleaford.
