The Yarn Bomb is in place to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse. The idea came from our involvement with a group in Italy called Vivavittoria.it .They , like many other Italian cities,  fill the main piazza with knitting , again to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse

Our yarn  bomb is organised by the Knit and Natter group / Churches together. and has included about 20 people , knitting , crocheting and sewing .It has been a lifeline for some during the COVID lockdown and has become a real community project  There are information panels within the yarn bomb detailing key messages re Domestic Abuse with helpline and local numbers for anyone who want help/to talk things through.  It will stay in place throughout July and August and we have a couple of events planned to raise funds for EDAN , Lincolnshire's Domestic Abuse Charity

Saturday July 24th    3-4.30 pm      Strawberry Tea in the grounds of the village hall

Sunday August 15th  3-4.30 pm     Family games afternoon with refreshments
